What is Mobile OCR?
The goal of Mobile OCR is to create an application for the Android platform that will recognize text from an image taken by the phone’s camera. The application will be fully accessible to low vision and blind users.
Where do I download Mobile OCR?
Right now, there is no official market release, but you can you get it the pre release here (for G1s with Android 1.6). In addition you can download the source code at the Google repository listed in the sidebar. It will be released to the market soon!
